Everything we make has a purpose in the body.

The supplement industry is already crowded. Nobody needs another bottle that looks good on a shelf and does very little in the body. So we hold every product to a simple test: it has to be something a thoughtful clinician would want in a patient's regimen, at a dose that does something, in a form the body can use. If it can't pass that test, we don't make it.

From the exam room, not a marketing meeting

I made Mega Restore for my own patients. Ubiquinol, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are foundational nutrients, three I want almost every adult I care for to have at the right doses. For years I wrote them into patient plans as three separate bottles, and within a month most people had quietly dropped one or two. That is not a failure of the patient. It is a failure of the prescription. So I put the right ingredients, at the doses the studies used, into one capsule a day, so my patients could get the benefit without adding much to their pill burden. Functional Formulas exists to do that: the combinations I find myself recommending again and again, at doses that make a difference, in as few capsules as possible.

The right ingredients, at the right doses

Read enough supplement labels and a pattern shows up. A product lists the ingredient the research supports, then supplies a fraction of the amount the research used. One well-known D3 + K2 + CoQ10 formula, sold direct to consumers at a premium price, delivers 40 mg of ubiquinol. Ours delivers 200 mg, because that is the dose the human studies used. We start from the published dose and the form that was studied, and where the better-absorbed form costs more, we use it anyway. Ubiquinol, not ubiquinone. MK-7, not MK-4.

One capsule, not a fistful

Pill burden is a real reason people stop taking things that help them. When a patient would otherwise be taking three or four products, our job is to get those ingredients into one capsule. Mega Restore replaces three bottles with one, and a bottle lasts ninety days, so a year is four bottles rather than twelve.

Manufactured in America, and traceable

Our products are manufactured in the United States, in an FDA-registered food facility in Boca Raton, Florida, under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements. Raw materials are quarantined and checked before use, every batch is made under controlled batch records with lot-level traceability, and each finished lot is tested before release.
