Why all three
Three nutrients your body runs low on. One capsule that puts them back.
None of these is exotic. They are three of the most studied nutrients in medicine. The problem is that levels fall with ordinary life, and most products give you too little to matter.
Your body makes less every year
CoQ10 is part of how every cell makes energy. Levels in heart muscle peak around age twenty and are about half by your seventies. Statins lower it further. Mega Restore helps replenish CoQ10 depleted by age and certain drugs such as statins.*
Most adults are low, and don't know it
Indoor work, sunscreen, northern winters and age all cut the vitamin D your skin can make. Vitamin D supports bone health, immune health and the body's normal use of calcium.*
Vitamin D needs a partner
Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium. Vitamin K2 switches on the proteins that carry that calcium into bone. Taking D without K2 leaves those proteins built but switched off. Helps keep calcium in bones, not arteries.*

The problem we set out to solve
To match this one label, most people are buying three bottles.
Ubiquinol is usually sold at 100 mg, so a 200 mg dose is two capsules. MK-7 is usually sold at 100 mcg, so 300 mcg is three capsules. Add the D3 and you are at six capsules a day, three reorder dates, and three chances to run out.
| Nutrient at target dose | Common bottle strength | Capsules per day | Typical cost per day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ubiquinol 200 mg | 100 mg capsule | 2 | $0.90 |
| Vitamin K2 MK-7 300 mcg | 100 mcg capsule | 3 | $0.47 |
| Vitamin D3 5,000 IU | 5,000 IU capsule | 1 | $0.05 |
| A well-known DTC "D3 + K2 + CoQ10" formula | 4,000 IU D3 · ~120 mcg K2 · 40 mg ubiquinol | 1 | $2.53 |
| Mega Restore, all three | One capsule, full doses | 1 | $1.00 |
Comparison prices are the median of mainstream retail listings surveyed in August 2026 across Vitacost, iHerb, Walmart and brand direct-to-consumer sites. Prices change; the capsule counts don't. Mega Restore cost per day is based on the one-time price of one bottle. The direct-to-consumer formula is listed at $76 per bottle; it reaches one fifth of our ubiquinol dose and well under half of our MK-7 dose. What is 40 mg of ubiquinol going to do for anyone?
Who it's for
Built for a specific person. Useful to a much wider one.
CoQ10 levels peak in early adulthood and fall from there. Skin makes less vitamin D with age. This is the age when putting them back starts to make sense.
Statins lower CoQ10 in the blood. If you take one, this is the upgrade to ask your pharmacist or doctor about. Do not start, stop or change a prescription based on this page.
If you take vitamin D on its own, this is the same D3 plus the K2 that activates the proteins D3 tells your body to make. No extra capsules.
If you already buy CoQ10, D3 and K2 separately, this replaces three bottles and up to six capsules with one capsule at breakfast.
From the exam room

I made this for my own patients. Then I started taking it myself.
I am a pharmacist clinician. I see patients, order labs and prescribe, and I own and run Evergreen Longevity & Functional Medicine, a functional medicine practice serving Washington and Idaho. I am board-certified in anti-aging and regenerative medicine and in advanced hormone therapy, and certified in functional medicine. Longevity, hormone health and preventing chronic disease are my daily work.
I made Mega Restore for my own patients. Ubiquinol, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are foundational: three nutrients I want almost every adult I care for to have at the right doses. The trouble was getting there. Three bottles and up to six capsules a day is a lot to ask of anyone, and most people quietly stopped within a month. So I put the right ingredients, at the doses the studies used, into one capsule a day. It adds almost nothing to your pill burden, and it is what I take myself.
I publish every source I relied on, including the studies that complicate my case. If you take prescription medication, ask the clinician who manages it before you start.

What happens over ninety days
A foundational supplement, not something you feel in a week.
MK-7 reaches a steady level
With a half-life of roughly three days, vitamin K2 as MK-7 builds to a stable blood level over about two weeks of once-daily dosing.
Plasma CoQ10 rises
Blood levels of CoQ10 climb over two to four weeks. In a published comparison at our 200 mg dose, ubiquinol raised plasma CoQ10 more than the conventional form.
Vitamin D reaches steady state
25-hydroxyvitamin D rises gradually and levels off after about three months of consistent daily dosing. That is a sensible point to check a level with your clinician and confirm the dose is right for you.*
Before you buy
Five questions people ask first.
Is 5,000 IU of vitamin D too much?
It is a deliberate, higher-end dose, and you should know the context. The National Academy of Medicine sets an upper intake level of 4,000 IU per day for adults, so 5,000 IU sits above it. Doses in this range have a long track record of use, and toxicity is linked to far higher intakes over long periods. It deserves a conversation with your doctor and a periodic blood test, not a shrug. If you already take a separate vitamin D product, do not stack them.
Why ubiquinol instead of the cheaper CoQ10?
CoQ10 comes in two forms. The common one, ubiquinone, has to be changed by your body before it can be used. Ubiquinol is the form your body can use right away, and the form found in your blood. In a published comparison at our 200 mg dose, four weeks of ubiquinol raised blood CoQ10 more than four weeks of ubiquinone in the same people. That study was small, and another found no significant difference in older adults. We think it is the better choice; we will not pretend the literature is unanimous.
I take a statin. What should I know?
Speak with your pharmacist or clinician before adding any supplement. A 2015 systematic review of placebo-controlled trials reported lower blood CoQ10 after statin therapy and called for more trials. That research does not establish that Mega Restore restores a deficiency, treats or prevents medication side effects, or is right for every person who uses a statin. Do not start, stop, or change prescribed medication based on this page.
How long before I notice anything?
This is a foundational supplement, not something you feel in a week. Blood CoQ10 rises over two to four weeks. MK-7 reaches a steady level in about two weeks. Vitamin D status shifts over two to three months. Some people notice everyday energy in the first month and some notice nothing at all. Give it the full ninety days.
Can I take it with a blood thinner or my multivitamin?
Blood thinner: do not decide this from a website. Vitamin K directly affects how warfarin and similar drugs work. Speak with the clinician who manages your medication before use. Multivitamin: usually yes, but check the vitamin D. Many contain 1,000 to 2,000 IU, and you do not want to add that to 5,000 IU without knowing.
